I think they look good to! I'm a beginner ( I'm on my second grow now,Inside) and I'm curious about FIM'ing and topping. I tried it on one of my "experimental" plants but all I did was damage the leaves. So I'm tryin to do some research.

Hey Shenagen,

Couple questions...

1. How old are those plants? I'm really interested to hear how long it took for them to get that big.

2. Are you convinced that topping and fimming produce a greater yeild? I'm also growing outdoors.

3. When did you top yours?

4. When did you transplant outside? I'm worried about the rain damaging my young sprouts.

Thanks!

1. 3 1/2 months

2. yes...but I've been trying some different things to find out for sure myself....I never use to do anything(nothing just plant somewhere and hope it survives) Also..for me, I think it makes more quality buds..instead of the top cola being the best. You're not going to get double the yield or anything like that. Do

3. I think they were around 1 1/2 months old...I forgot to write it down.

4. I transplanted about a month ago from the ebb and flow
Hope that helps ...I know its not super specific

Thanks for all the info. I really appreciate it. One more thing... my plot is about 15' by 15' in the forest with a modest amount of light coming through (5-6 hours of direct sunlight). I would like to have 15 females out there. How far apart did you space everything initially?

There is great air circulation where they are, so I just make sure they aren't blocking light from each other....plus they're in containers so I move them as they grow
