this is how you rep someone(try me first)... look at the top right corner of my rep box. see the scale in the middle of the post count and the other thing? click on the scale than say "thanks for giving me the link" or w/e you want to say, than leave your RIU name and press send....

rep stands for reputation points, and adds to the persons rep..... you give rep when you like something someone posted on RIU; whether it be good info, something funny, a pic, or w/e you liked and found helpful.. or you can just join a rep orgy party thread

Exactly. My GF is at Uni and had to do an essay on different peoples views on Heaven and Hell. My answer was, its like christmas and santa. if you've been good, you get good. If not, it's the firey pits for you. (invented by the church).
