I still remember my Call sign & code from the CB days & you know what? Only one time did I ever actually talk to someone I knew on the damn thing. But I sure felt like the Bandit back then. . . 10-10

I must be bad off. I even enjoyed the Disco scene.Off to the club at 10pm or later nobody wanted to be the first to get there. The more I smoked the more clubs I would hit. I am old now that I think about it.
And for you that didnt get into it. You have no ideal at the beautiful ladies you missed:hump:

I HATE DISCO!! Was the beginning of the end of rock and roll and never came back. How about albums?? I have a collection of over 200 from 1966 through the early 70's. Probably worth a lot of $$ since they are in excellent condition and haven't been played in over 30 years. I don't even have a turn table.

Another thing that hasn't been mentioned is high school reunions. I went to my 10th and 40th. Too funny!! At the 10th every body was trying to impress each other on how successful they were. Some rented cars and all like about their success. Some had gone bald and most had been married and divorced by then. The ironic thing was the ones that you thought would turn out to be successful were bums and the ones you though would be bums were pretty good people. At the 40th no body gave a shit...we were just happy to still be above ground.

I was the disco queen. I won a lot of dance contests and it was fun for me. I won a trip to vegas and stayed in the original MGM Grand. Then came the urban cowboy era and I had to learn to waltz and 2 step. I have never been much into drinking. I could dance until dawn on nothing but coca-cola. I love rock and roll but I love to dance more, and I like the couples kind of dancing! Haven't run into a man who could dance in 15 years now!

Grew up in bars, meant my wife in a bar. Bars that played rock not disco. Now I stay away cause I get drunk and in trouble.

I was wondering when Disco would be brought up. I have to admit disco imo was not all bad. The printed silk shirts were bad ass! Still have a few packed away so I will be ready when disco makes its come back.
