Sorry i've been mia everybody recently i found out one of my family members i live with has stage 4 lung cancer and between my 9-5 and this i barely have time to do anything.

This is my second depo run with some diff genes this time also doing a pheno hunt this run

Secret formula ( Wifi og x dosido)
Gelato 41 x dosido
Purple punch x Purple punch

Running same nutrients as last time as well, maybe adding a different pk booster this time.

added a few more t8's

was wondering why everything wass taking so long to veg and even being in the desert still need a good amount of supplemental lighting tonight im flipping the light schedule ill take more pictures later everything has filled out so nicely

I use to grow T5-T8's back in the 70-80's

very cheep lighting it is too.. with marginal Lux these days.... but great Lux back them thanks to tech? lol

even now I use a T8 rack with 6 tubes as my germer light (on 6500k)

but have dome many many grows (for various reasons) entirely under my T8 rack

like you perhaps is very low in any heat

the real secret is how you use the tubes

that I have done much with advice from many directions since 1972

I grow 6500k for the first month making a short squat plant
2nd month I remove 50% cool whites and add 2700K(the color of the white light Kelvin?)
ride that for 2 weeks then go 100% warm whites or 2700k (33watts) each
it does make a tall langly plants even stretched what I need

(keep the light 1 inch of the topmost leaf I use a string as a marker!)

after the first month as I flip to 2700K I also REMOVE all leaves and sticks 12 (300mm) inches from the top cola
light don't reach that far and also improves the ventilation 200%

WITH THE STICKS I MAKE CLONES TO RESTART for the next grow I use a DIY bubbler

back in the day I'd grow under turnkey?
and still make tall stretched plants as these later will go into 600mm/24" holes
tall and stretched means better uptake and faster settlement in the ground

ps many of my T8 and T5's have been swapped out for led same tubes at 18 watts same light less power

Were you amending differently when you grew entirely under T8s @vostok? Silica maybe to build thicker stems?

if going in outside soil, post veg or even straight to 12x12
