Hello all, used this site a long time ago but on it again as i'm a little rusty,
Ive got four PPP babies in a 4x4 grow tent with a 400watt hps running in there, as of yet i have no A/C which means that i learnt the hard way how F%*&ing hot tents get, the little buggers suffered up to 102F on the first night until i kept the tent open, which i now keep open constantly, sacrificing a spare room to darkness, The temperature is running at a steady 80-85 degrees now, sometimes getting to 88 because its summer so normal room temperature is about 78 anyway, The humidity is a shocking 30% however i cant explain the dryness? i have a feeling this is not going to be good for them, though they dont seem to be doing as badly as i would have thought, i would post picture but some are still trying to pop their shells off so there isnt much to look at!
I have a 4" fan to run the hot air out of the setup on the way and a humidifier coming tomorrow, have i left it too late? or am i looking at some stunted/runt plants as i assume these early stages of growth are the most important, although its only been 2/3 days? also im poor and the humidifier is eating away at my fan expenses so will only one be enough to suck the heat off that light and pull air in through the vents with air pressure?
sorry the essay, hope someone can help!
Peace
