High Times 2013 MMMP Cannabis Cup?!?

I had reached out to the Ann Arbor Convention and Visitors Bureau and received the following responce:


Looks like the Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest has over 20,000 sq ft of meeting space with their largest room being just under 10,000 sq ft. Another option would be the Kensington Court, which has over 29,000 sq ft but their largest room is only 5500 sq ft. You might also want to contact the Clarion Hotel. I have heard they hosted another large cannabis event this past year.

Any thoughts on these three locals? The large cannabis event refered to was the Michigan Medical Marijuana Confrence held the last month?

What!? Rare D, you seem to be in the know, I've been hearin sub and farmerjohn mentioning michigan and Detroit specifically when listing the cups this year. Any word on why they aren't having the event?

From what I have heard, it is all because of how they were treated, and the lack of dispensaries entering in '11 that caused them to not want to come here again. I will be in LA next weekend for the cup. I will talk to Dan Skye, Danny danko, bobby black and nico Escondido. They are pretty much the main dudes that host and run the events. See if maybe they will come back to Michigan.

I'll be there at Ann arbor hash bash on the 6th. I am trying to get a new provision center somewhere else besides in Jackson. I am in Kalamazoo and driving is just not cool. We all need to get together and form a new provision center as well as form a figu study group. I am going to goto Switzerland as soon as I can learn some Swiss German and have some resources to start a building for a study group location. Any one wanting to get in on either should message me . We need a good Michigan cannabis cup.

My wife just gave me the thumbs up to go to Seattle. I'm excited but I don't no anyone out there. Does anyone know of any meet ups happening at the cannabis cup? Or is anyone here going? Is there anyone from the area who can give me tips on where to go, where not to? Anything?
