Higher Yield? Perpetual auto grow vs single photo grow?

Yea re reading again I got to say I never seen an auto done in 7.7 weeks and thats if they switch at the 3 wk mark. People say they grew lots of plants and 10-11 weeks is the soonest theyve seen regardless of auto or not.

The outspilling lights from tent and under closet door wont be enough to bother IMO.

I had a 2.5x5 and then a 2x2 and 2x4 to make the other half of garden. A 3x3 veg tent. I realized the 2x2’s are so small its not worth perpetuating.

Perpetuating if done right is meant to utilize space and always produce weed * if it takes equal or greater* time to veg the plant vs flower.

Only exception is if the plant quadruples in size or more at flip and thats not good in this situation.

Perpetuating unless lucky for a long ass time is a pain to perform and is only worth it if done right or else id just not bother and do all in ones.

Please correct me where wrong. Ive spent thousands and would love to know how I can produce more WITH keeping guarentee of yield, ease of growth and smoothness. Satisfaction.

Growing can make one want to rip the hair out their head lol. Check out my thread “help me start my perpetual garden” All this comes up along with people saying they do just fine perpetuating beans.

I dab full time my goals are different but ultimately stress is stress. Avoiding buying from store. Actually I can relate better just by saying I want to vape half oz a day.

So that means any week spent waiting for plants to finish later than expected, autos flowering in veg space already and popped beans needing to be tossed therefor.

Just my two cents on my almost 3rd perpetual run 5 clones at a time and learned that immediatly along with what I already said.

The strain takes 8 weeks veg plus 2 to clone and 10 wks flower but in my 2x2’s they need 4 veg plus root time thats 6 vs 10.

I know my mileage will vary from others but generally with my clones side by side, they yielded 3.3oz on average and 7oz big tent.

My small dim 2x2s were too bushy and dim to finish properly and on time and threw the whole process off 1.5 wks.

Not knowing when to take cuttings my canopies are so high even with aggressive pruning back to a stub.. Not good for height constraints.

So Im doing all that for 2.5oz a plant 2x2 space to finish on time. Not worth it. Id look into sog since one with great experience was always an advocate of due to turn time and yield.

Im taking those down and immitating successful side. Also just made a new veg space so I can do a 3x3 flower tent too. Perpetual activity up in here!

In fact you can have that door a crack open and have a fan blow air in itll automatically push air out and theres your ventilation.

Or slap some mylar over most the opening and get creative with pc fans or just so if the lights on it wont scold the other tent plants.

Even then I dont think itll generate enough ppfd for photo synthesis or nanners/sacs. Those I think will come for any guessing game type reason when everything is right.

Im thinking of just vegging autos in the closet for 3 weeks while autos in the tent finish flowering. I might just put a desk fan on that shelf at the top of the closet and leave the door partially open since light leaks won't matter. I've had varying degrees of seeds/herms, and with far less light than some have said on here. I've been running various strains of in house genetics the last year or so, but I feel like I still had the odd partial seed formation type issues to varying degrees before that.
