where are u planning on growing tent, closet or room? what size..becuase 1 fan may not be enough. i have a 400w in my 3x3 and its not hard to keep cool i only have a $25 duct booster pullin air out the top and a fan over the canopy. good luck man

dutch is right, the fan might not be enough for circulation. I myself am looking into a duct booster fan, $25 amazon. my tent has ventilation along bottom so with the duct fan on top pullin hot air out, it will cross vent and pull in cool air from the bottom. boo yaoooo!

you may get a good crop from MG potting soil, but it is not a good beginner's soil
if you have access to something else, it could prevent some grief

In flower I use just a box fan and then an exhaust fan, and a duct fan blowing across the bulb, in flower I have only the box fan..because since it is veg I can leave all the vents and flaps...in flower you end up needing more fans, for scrubbers or filters and cool tubes, and whatever other madness you might encounter...

Actually MG potting soil is the absolute worst for beginners, because if you overwater it at all then your plants start to wither and die of nute burn...you should try to find some Roots organic or Fox Farms...they are the most awesome things ever when you are just starting growing...they are super easy and the results are insane...I don't have to do a side by side...I already know that those 2 are the best, I did a test of strawberries, and the ones in the garden look gross compared to the ones in the pots of FFOF...getting the same plain rain water, and the same sunlight in the same spots...but the FFOF is a million times better...and mind you this my garden soil, not the backyard, but raised bed outdoor gardening, and the difference between midlevel outdoor garden soil and FFOF is immense...and I used the same amendments in both as well...worm castings, perlite, peruvian guano...it doesn't matter...what matters is that a high quality indoor potting soil is the difference between "look at my harvest...**" and "Look at my Harvest!!! *:weed:*"
