HM Clones

Looks fine man, I wouldn’t throw it away because it’s a little slow. I’ve had slow ones, took cuts and those cuts grew with good vigor. Plus how many times have you heard someone say “I almost threw it away, Boy I’m glad I didn’t that shit is fire” you never know.
I almost lost faith in this when it took so long to get going. Now it’s surpassing everything else of the same age-

Get your money’s worth by giving it the best life it could hope for, and it will respond happily by giving you plenty to prune off and sell for a reasonable price- just to throw a big middle-finger to a careless and greedy clone-whore, haha.
But no malice meant, actually. Different paths

I said I'd accept something else if Zkittlez isn't available again soon. HM just told me to pick (2) $300 cuts and he'll send them to me. He doesn't want one-and-done customers, but repeat business. So now everyone can see that he is being a stand-up guy, and might just be a solid clone source after all.

I did try to offer an honest review in my first post. I got a little dickish after that. I'll work on being more polite online, sorry. I would blame the pandemic isolation, but I've always been kinda like this.

Sorry if I went that way, too.
BUT, I would also insist on thorough back-papers for any of those over a few hundred bucks- just like you would if buying a horse.
More money more problems;)

I have great respect for post like this, it takes stand up people to apologize or admit they may be wrong. I like people with heart, that’s the kind of people I want around me.

Thank you, and likewise. The thing about clones is, you have to wait and see how they do after you receive them. Meanwhile your friends on the internet and in real life are having the same problems with clones they've purchased that you are, so the negativity gets fed. I'm speaking in the second person, but talking about myself.

If every clone dealer website or Strainly page said something like, "Please wait 2-3 weeks after receiving clones and if there is still a problem it will be replaced", people like me wouldn't freak out the moment they have an issue with an order.

It's week 4 since I received the Zkittlez clone and it's finally grown a couple inches. The stem is light like a feather though, I'm gonna increase direct air flow on the plant to help it toughen up. In another month or so I should be able to take a good strong cutting to make a new mother plant from.

After a few recent experiences with shipping stress, I now think clones are as sensitive to this stuff as live reptiles or tropical fish. This is why I encourage shippers to use phase change packs in conjunction with ice or heat packs during extreme weather. Here is the link where you can buy them. Superior Shipping Supplies - Ice Packs.

HMclones = healthy made clones = healthymadeseeds = within the last year of 2 turned into seedbank club.. they are located in Oregon so maybe they shipped from a breeder? I haven’t dealt with them since they started selling clones but I bought some packs when they were healthymadeseeds.. they’re legit only complaints I’ve really heard is they can take awhile to ship

Hey Cal, how are your HM clones doing?
I missed this thread somehow and posted about my experience with them in the Strainly thread.
Mind if I copy and paste it here...or do a quick summary?
Sure, what happened with your order?

That Zkittlez plant never developed any strong branches, it was like all side shoots. I took some cuts from it to make a new mother plant a few days ago.

I got the replacement cuts from Clones Direct, which I guess is also owned by HM. I picked Wedding Pie and LA Pop Rocks, and he threw in a Fritter Cake #2 freebie. They didn't get cooked in shipping so they're doing well.

Those look super healthy!

Let me see if I can find the pics I took of the clones.

Here's the first set of clones I received. I have few others and I saved the correspondence. The Cuts Club stated HM clones were their sister nursery. It leaves me to wonder just how many " clone nurseries" are operating under Neptune? Now that folks have received cuts, they're only claiming King Kong Clones as their affiliate.
These are from The Cuts Club. The Gushers also came back positive for HpLVd. The ICC didnt but it still looks sick as hell.

I asked Neptune if they had any affiliation with HM Clones and they said no, just King Kong. HM told me he owns another site, so he has at least two. The replacement clones all look healthy, but I was getting worried about that Zkittlez being near my mother plants, so I cloned it and trashed it. It probably could just never recover from the heat stress, but I didn't wanna risk it. We'll see how the clones do.

I asked them too and pointed out that they've yet to call out the nurseries using their name. No response.

I dont blame you for moving the Zkittlez away from your moms. I do the same thing with all clones. I keep them quarantined until I get a clean cut and then toss the original.

To clear up any confusion for other readers, these are my original posts/review regarding The Cuts Club and HM Clones from the Strainly thread.

TheCutsClub Gushers (and 2 others -waiting on tests results) were dudded, runted, and sickly. Seriously the poorest quality cuts I've ever received. When I initially contacted them about processing my payment to complete the transaction, they responded within an hour. When I contacted them about the poor quality of their cuts I was ghosted for days. They did finally respond and they did send me some replacements from their sister site HM Clones and those appear to the doing well.
Just thought I'd give y'all a heads up because while they do have some pricey hyped cuts, their cloning technique as well as sanitation protocols need some serious work.

Having dealt with this virus, I test everything now and while I'm still waiting on these results, I'm pretty sure they're positive for HpLVd
I followed my usual IPM and nursed them while in quarantine in a mineral rich amended soil with teas and as soon as they started to grow a bit, I recognized the symptoms right ways. The Gushers displayed green brittle stalks that snap with the slightest amount of pressure, lack of atypical dominance, odd branching, tiny pinwheel leaves, and poor root health. And I took about a dozen cuts and not a single one has rooted after a month in rockwool (another symptom of dudding).
The cuts I received from their sister nursery (HM Clones) arrived healthy and are doing fine (awaiting results on these too but no reason to believe they're infected unless asymptomatic) so I'd advise members looking at Neptune for quality cuts to skip the CutsClub and go with HM if its a cut you really want. No experience with their other "clonerys" (KingKong)

If this was any other time of year I'd chuck em in the trash but since its summer, I'll throw these outside and let mother nature take over.

Side note: anyone thats familiar with my posting history knows it takes a LOT for me to leave a negative review for any company and while this isnt Strainly related I still couldnt in good conscience NOT say anything. Having this shit infect our rooms is no joke.
I'll try to follow this up with some pics
I cant be certain, but I "think" *they* (as in Neptune and Tiki) employ a few different nurseries. They supply the genetics and leave it to the nurseries to distribute?
The Cuts Club, Healthy Made Clones, King Kong Clones, and Godzilla Clones.
There could be others, but those are the four I'm aware of.

I've added Zerotol 2.0 to my arsenal to help prevent cross contamination. So far so good. Just keep an eye on your clones and be diligent with your IPM and sanitation. And be very mindful of all vectors. With these viroid's its imperative to only keep and grow healthy plants.

Many will talk a big game but very few have clean verified genetics. Its a shame really and now I feel like I'm throwing a negative vibe on this thread. Not my intent. Just want all my growmies have healthy headache-free harvest :hug:bongsmilie

I ordered a $350 Zkittlez clone from HM Clones on May 22. It was supposed to ship in 14 days but took 27 days to arrive. I emailed them after 3 weeks and they replied that it would ship out the next week, which it did.

HM Clones is in Oregon so that's where I expected the clone to ship from, but it shipped from the East Coast. It was in a Clone Shipper. It's not the greatest looking clone, probably some stress from the hot weather. I suggested they use an ice pack, they didn't.

For the money I expected a clone with a straight stem, not one where the main shoot pops out at a 45 degree angle. I throw those in the garbage (when I'm taking cuttings). Had they pruned the fan leaves it might have rooted faster. Pruning makes the cutting focus more on root development than fan leaf survival.

I'll update this if it survives quarantine. I will likely not purchase from "Healthy Made" Clones again.

You bought clones infested with WPM? I think you need to treat them. People use bicarbonate(if I remember correctly?) but I've never had WPM infestation myself so I don't know about what dosage being used for sprays.

For what it's worth my skittlez (not any special cut) plant also grows pretty thin branches. When she buds up they just fall over. But it's literally my fave smoke for taste and smell.

I'm having issues with HMClones as well. I placed an order for the Mai Thai #4 on July 28 and it's now August 18th. I've left countless emails and none have been replied to. I got the order confirmation and payment confirmation through CASHAPP. My only other option is to call my bank and get my money back. These people/site are scam artists BUYER BEWARE, You've been WARNED my friend.

You could try the other email, it's healthy made seeds at proton mail dot com. I didn't keep track of how long it took to get my replacement clones, but it was more than two weeks. I understand you've been waiting three weeks. He's probably gonna tell you the clone is shipping next week whether you ask for a refund now or not.

I know it's hard to hear, but I would be patient and you'll probably get a good clone. It wouldn't hurt to remind him again though. He did initially forget about my replacements, then when I reminded him a few weeks later, he had me place an order on the site. Payment happens after your order, so he just didn't invoice me for the replacements since they were free.

Scam artists, really? This is your second order, 1st one was fulfilled, this second one we sent you tracking info for it yesterday. I don’t understand why you would post this.
