Perhaps someone has already suggested you start taking anti-biotics if you can get your hands on any. Up to 500 mg's every 6-8 hours? It's the infection that hurts. Gotta clear that up anyway. Spent MANY years with tooth aches. Penicillin, amoxocillin, this type anti-B. Usually results in pain reduction on day 2.

This is exactly right. He is hurting due to infection. I would be surprised if the dentist even extracts it on Tuesday. Most of the time they give a prescription for antibiotics and make you come back a week later. They do that because they cannot numb you with an infection.

Take the peroxide with water, it works. Just don't swallow. If you have antibiotics take them.

If the infection gets really bad there is a real possibility that he could die... My ex had a bad tooth, so we went to the dentist.. We were going on vacation the next day so the dentist told him he could get it removed when he got back a week later.. He didn't even prescribe him any antibiotics or anything.. So we were on vacation for a few days and I woke up to the house we were staying at empty.. Turns out he had to be rushed to the hospital late that night.. [supposedly they tried to wake me up but I wouldn't wake up fast enough, lol] I guess my ex just had a feeling there was something wrong and decided to go because the pain was so intense.. The doctor said he seriously would have died if he didn't go to the ER that night because the infection spread so much.. He was in intensive care for like a week....Insane how delicate our bodies are... A bad tooth turned into a hair away from death...

an infection would be a source of pain but this guy has a hole in his tooth and the nerve is exposed hence the pain. in the uk you can not buy antibiotics over the counter anyway. ibuprofen is the only pain killer you can buy that will stop the pain

Yeah .. Coke isn't 100% to blame for my worn enamel.. Recently, for some unknown reason, I picked up the habit of clenching my teeth while I sleep.. I have a feeling the drugs created that habit.. Like a psychological thing .. My jaw is messed up from it too ....It gets really stiff and I have to massage my jaw bones so they don't lock up.. I'm probably just gonna get my teeth fixed then get a custom mouth guard. You should take a calcium supplement everyday .

You have TMJ, you need a lower flat plane gelb. They run around $400. they do work. I am a grinder too. I have to wear my gelb every night...
Bruxism is the worst habit to have, it is thought to be genetic. I know my Dad does it as well.

It's good to know it probably isn't caused by my poor choices... I think I'm gonna make an appointment tomorrow with the dentist.... But wow 400 dollars.... Good thing I have insurance, or it would probably be thousands..

Beleive it or not a good chiropractor ( spinal cracker ) can sometimes fix tmj. I worked in a dental office for a short spell and learned that pain killers don't work on infected nerves. There are many natural antibiotics garlic, CLOVE and colloidial silver are a few easy ones to find. I feel for those with tooth pain the shit will drive a person mad. Peroxide should always be diluted for oral use. Call you dentist and get some antibiotics BEFORE your apointment otherwise you will have to make 2 visits to the fucking monopolized tooth jewelers.

you need to go to a dentist and get the tooth looked at. they said to me that when my tooth was messed up that i could only get a root canal or get the tooth taken out. once that infection gets to the nerve and stuff it is too late. i would get everything looked at. a filling sucks but it is better than a root canal ( i head those hurt) or getting the tooth pulled

man i had the same problem. no matter what you do the pain will always come back and worse. i went through about 5 half bottles of whiskey in 4 days thinking it would help. but no. even tried to pull it out myself it got so sore. now that really diddnt help. went to the dentist and it took her half an hour to pull that bad boy out. teeth can be pretty big under the gums. i do not recommend pulling it yourself.
