Home Depot Setup

I am trying to build a metal closet like sunlight sheds to support my over grown box. I would like to set up a Cloning chamber up top. Does anyone know exactly what lighting would be ideal for me from Home Depot. For Flowering chamber I have my 400W HPS which is currently on 12/12 with 6 mixed girls and 2 clones. I need more space. I have gotten some hermies only on the top third of the weaker plants and I think it's due to proximity of light. I chopped one of those 6 girls entire top last night. Hated to do it. Though I know topping is part of keeping them small. I must go to a closet. I can't do a box. I think it is fine for a veg chamber, but overgrown for flower. I think if I didn't keep in Veg for so long I would have been ok, but I only joined recently and started learning a lot more than ever. Any support is well appreciatted. I love my new community.

I know they sell high wattage HPS bulbs and MH bulbs, but I don't think I've seen the ballasts there. Maybe some high wattage CFL's for your cloning.

I went there today but to much to chose from I don't know what to do. They have the Flurolex which looked good then I just have to get the screw in rated fixture in there. I was thinking two 42 watts. In that top little section. But then I seen the tubes. I'm just lost. I don't even know exactly what I am doing for the closet. Just I know that I need it done like yesterday. That light is fucking with the top region of my girls. I also want to keep heat down, as this is low budget as possible till first harvest.

May I suggest LST? Give it a shot, I grow in a box, and I am working on growing them strapped to the walls, just tie them to it and bend them around the wall. Just be careful, you dont want to break them bending them to much. Get you some of the things in the image attached and some zip ties, you can train that plant to walk all the way around your cabinet.

What does LST mean? Low Stress Training right? I have been training them to the net pots with fishing string. They are all bent over, ( in a trained way, Lol.) Even on there sides as bushes they are just crazy, loving the HPS. I think the other problem is I am growing all Sativas. Or Mostlys. I have WW Haze and Ice. And not sure if my haze is a NL. Had one of each from a friend, and only germed in tanks. So if I wanted to LST?, I would have to keep training all the shoots and the such right? Cause the lower shoots have exceeded the trained top ya know. I am somewhat new. This is my second grow. First was two years ago and destroyed by my bestfriends mom. Now I am trying to do it right. After all the info I've gotten here I want to do it big, lol.
