if you got the time and are patient. and have the room you really got try this at least once in your gardening career. You can add lots of wieght and a really sweet taste by Honey Curing. best done with a large well finished and trimmed plant.
SIMPLE STUFF HERE: wack the plant close to the ground, dont remove any branches, trim well before cutting down, take a large ziplock bag, fill it with Honey. put the cut end of the plant inside the honey filled bag, leaving enough room on the plant and enough bag to seal tightly around the stalk, using tape or whatever will work for you.once it is sealed and wont leak, hang the babe . the honey will slowly drip through all the branches and seep into the buds. it really is narly when done right. Done right is being able to let it sit for 4 to 6 weeks. you can add a lb and some serious sweetness to a plant doing this.

So is it for the purpose of a good smoke or adding weight to your final product?

not only will it ad wieght, the honey crystalizes and really makes for a great tasting joint. try it on a small branch and check it out.not something you want to do every harvest...... but then again extra wieght never seems to cause any problems...... and they will love the taste.

Yeah,i'd like to see some pics of the finished buds,i dont sell so i could care less about the added weight but i do like nice flavorfull smoke,i understand how you said to do it & it seems simple but i'd still like to see some finished buds if possible,i'd be willing to try it with one plant,my grow's just about done & i should have enough to last me quite a while so one plant wont hurt me.

plants with honey adds more unneccesary smoke from burnt honey. Put hash oil over yourbud then smoke. Thats real honey bud. We get that at the shop for $40 a gram of herb dipped in hash oil and hardened

It sounds like it could draw lots of bugs, and smoking honey will not taste good- smoking sugar tastes like hell. Sounds like this is just a way to screw customers or something.

Captain canabiss: yeah by wacking I mean cutting. You should try this with a branch the first time you do it not a whole plant.

Captain Canabiss:I only screw the good looking female ones.

I have know idea but I bet you are right that smoking sugar or burnt honey does taste like shit. Why do you know this?

A molecular breakdown occurs to the organic matter as the plant dies over a few day period . This also happens to the honey as it dries out also.
Total darkness is always the best for drying plants as it is the best enviroment for the molecular structure breakdown. The plant is still alive after cutting and any light it might detect delays the dying process of the organic matter. There are some 5 dollar scientific words for this process but i dont have a clue what they are.

LIKE I SAID THIS IS NOT SOMETHING YOU WANT TO DO ALL THE TIME. I SURE DONT. BUT AFTER READING the posts ABOUT WATERCURING(watthefukisthatanyway) I thought I would share a method of curing that I came across over 30 years ago. During 38 years of enjoying this hobby I have come across and developed some pretty good methods especially in thr growing dept,as many others also have ,and sharing info is always good.THAT IS WHY WE COME HERE IS IT NOT. Old fucks like myself have tried many different ways to improve or change the outcome of the process . Like I have always said "Money Does to Grow on Trees"

fdd2blk:stop growing schwag.

Captain Canabiss: What is this thing schwag you speak of?:-?

The hash oil hardens on the bud.

let me clarify........ what's wrong with the weed to begin with that you would have to do something like this? i can put peanut butter on a T-bone steak but i don't. it's just not right.
