I feel this post has to go in the Newbie area, because Im still a newbie. Grew my first plant from clone in Oct. 2011....so I been at it a little while, but always learning. This is my Afghani Bullrider SOG Cabinet grow. Its a CFL grow for 2 MM patients. Kind of afraid to put up stats, because Ive seen all the haters....but if you ask I may tell. So , if you could tell me.....How am I doing now?.....

no transplant..give clones about 3 days to a week to get legs then straight to flowerwith the beer cans..I couldnt let them veg too long anyway

Good way to recycle a 30 pack....lol. Keystone touts having ..."specially lined cans"......so I thought it would work and did.

OMG THAT IS SOOOOO FUCKING AWESOME IM GOING TO DO THAT!!!... BTW ur plants are fucking sweet! .. i love the cans... how often do you use cans.. or is it a all the time deal? and how much yield?

This is my main grow right now....still gettin dialed in. Been using the cans for a couple months now. I run 4 plants a week and pull just under an oz. dried per week. Using 10 24 watt soft white bulbs. To water...I put in a bucket and fill the bucket with nutes. Plants get watered from the bottom up. Get total saturation of the soil. Cool idea I got from someone somewhere...still learning

that's a very good way to water them...allowing them to wick up all the water/food they need

Got the idea from Dr. Bud Greengenes. He used gaterade bottles.

The problems seem to be space oriented....bigger containers take more space....also more soil and perlite. Made 2 moms in 24 oz cans. their flowering now. Plants with limbs seem to have smaller buds. Started in half galon pots but counldnt get more than a half oz per plant with a month veg.when their bushy they take up more space.I figured that if I could grow in smaller containers...I could fit 4 in the space of 1. Hoping to still get half an oz out of 4 plants, I was pleasently surprised to get almost twice that. 4 plants a week = oz a week. QP a month for 2 people

I like it. 1 oz per week, not fuckin bad. You've been at it twice as long as myself (yeah, not long, lol), but I could get a long nicely with 1 oz a week....

Ive been harvesting at 52 days. Starting this week they'll go 55 days. Might not chop one and see how far she'll go and maybe pop a couple seeds which I am desperate for . Seeds are the next thing Im going after....love this strain....tried 6 different strains and this is the clear winner....but they dont make seeds...even if they did, I cant spend that kinda money on seeds. Dont want to baby sit my grow all summer....so forcing to seed or hermi and collect pollen seem to be the answear. Plus, Id like to know how far I could push them.
