how can you have fun with knowing millions die from disease and starvation every year that could be prevented and not be depressed?

Nicely put bro.. and its true. I mean.. it would take more than a single action, from just one person... to fix things. Things are just too far out of
hand.. and there's not much we can do about it. Definately nothing you could do about it.. by yourself as one person.. that would make a dramatic effect or change in the way things are done in today's society... you know?

Also, I do feel sorry for people that dont even have food to eat.. that does sadden me. And I've made donations and contributions to quite a few
charity groups.. and yet.. with all the donations I've made in the past.. things are still the way they were when I first started making donations..
so that kinda proves my point.. about how things can't change with the actions of just one person... it would take a large amount of people..
and they would ALL have to make donations.. to even make a dent in the situation..
meh I don't want to preach.. think I'm going to go smoke another bowl and watch 'The Price is Right'.

just be the best person you can be, help strangers, recycle, shit like that. just to know that your doing a little piece of good. grow herb and give it to the masses so they can open their eyes.
Us humans have been having fun, and killing each other since the dawn of time. The only difference today is the mass instant communication that is being used to inform (less-so) and manipulate (more-so) the feelings and actions of an entire population. Nothing that is happening is NEW. it's always been going on. ALWAYS. If it wasn't for the fake news and ignorant blogs .. would you know enough to care?

i just think we are taking the easy way out "we cant do anything, problem is too big"
why is it easier for hitler to start a killing revolution than for us to start a healing revolution. its the evil inside us? we just aren't good species? not caring could be a form of this evil too.
if good and bad are supposed to be equal and opposing forces, we should have a utopia on our hands soon. but as time progresses, it seems like there is more bad than good overall.

a lot of bums dont try to help themselves theres only so much you can do for someone without them eventually taking over for themselves. people are lazy if they can get handouts they dont want to do actual work. we are not taking the easy way out we are taking the path that you have to because youcant force people to do whatever you want them to. its easier for hitler to start a revolution because its easier to say hey do all this horrible stuff and ill give you a respectable title and some money and if you dont ill kill you , than it is tell say hey go out and try to help all these people who dont want it.

So all of us acknowledge wrong doing. And acknowledge the lack of honesty that allows us to then put our concern's to action.

I think if people actually knew how bad the world is in some places they would lose all faith in the goodness inside of people, 1 bad person can counteract thousands trying to do good in this world.

I was at my local Mcdonalds the other day, getting lunch with the work crew. This guy approaches us in a wheelchair, asks if we can spare a few bucks. We assume since the guy is sitting there in front of mcdonalds, hmmm he must be hungry. We offer to buy the man lunch. He refuses, said he'd rather have the money. So he got nothing. Panhandle in a fastfood parking lot, get offered free food, and refuse it. *shakes head*

Sure is. The duality of life. Infinite choices and possibilities.
The sun was birthed from giant clouds of dead stars. Perhaps we are lucky for the sun to be exactly in the right place for us, but maybe it would have been part of a much larger star, driving earth like life in some other reach of space. Unlucky for what or who could have been. either way, chaos from dead stars brought forth the sun, and all life that binds to it.

I understand what youre saying but you have to accept the fact that some things are just out of your control, and move on.
Plus it might sound fucked up but people not only have to die, but get killed. If this didnt happen the world would be incredibly overpopulated. We havent reached a point where we can live in harmony with the earth yet and control our own population. Im not talking about killing people but taking responsibility and not having so many kids, especially all the people who have kids who grow up just to be a burden on the world and dont actually contribute positively to anything.
Its a cruel world but try to not focus so much on the negative, be thankful for what you have, the good in the world, and that the world will be getting better very soon.
