How close are these? (Trichome pics included)

I’m a couple days away from 9 weeks of flowering, as you can tell from the picture it suffered from nutrient burn a while back, but I got through that and I’ve been flushing for about a week, maybe a little more. How close do you guys think it is to harvest? I can’t tell if these are fully cloudy or not. Picture of bud included so you can judge off pistils as well.

Well, you're over the main hurdle of waiting. I do see alot of glass but I also see a shit ton of white plastic.

Do you have a 'high' profile in mind?

Well, I it’s an indica dominant hybrid, I was thinking I should lean into the heady high because of that to give it some balance? Unless you guys have better advice or ideas, I was planning to do mostly cloudy with 10-20% Amber, but again, open to suggestions and advice from more experienced people

I prefer a heavy HEAVY narcotic effect to balance my mental health needs so I'm not the best to reference.

Your % is a good standard to aim for but you will have to adjust your preferred % based on how many clear trichs you have left over when you see the right amount of ambers.

You mean aim for a higher level of Amber if there’s still a bunch of clear left correct?

Exactly, if you have your ambers and your cloudies, you still need to be aware there could be alot of glassy clears. Finding the perfect balance will be entirely up to you.

A good rule to follow is to do your checks, rotate your plants around and walk away for a few hours and redo the checks.

If both checks are roughly equal, you hit your goal.

Okay so this is a new microscope, I turned the resolution up and the light down for better pictures, I definitely see a lot more milky now and very few ambers, I think my bright ass pictures made it harder to distinguish

Nope, I still see what I saw. 'cloudy' means I can't see into the trich head. You have what I would classify as half cloudy.

Snip some LARF or low down popcorn bits and hit 'em with a pipe / vape. If you like the hum you get, she's ready. If you want something that's got a little more couch-lock to it, wait a little longer.
