How close do you trim your buds?

I thought that by trimming my bud (sugar leaves) close I would rid it of some chlorophyll smell, create smoother smoke and make my buds look more like the ones I buy from the collective. My buds just look kind of hairy and leafy if I don't trim close and I feel like people will think it's not quality bud by the looks of it.

Watching some videos I see that many growers don't trim the sugar leaf too close. Is it just a matter of preference? I don't really see leaf on the buds I buy. Why is that?

Here is a bud I have curing. Would you trim it up more or leave it?

Heres somthing first off its your bud if peeps dont like it they can f off.
2nd your bud looks fine
just a simple thing leaf dosent piss me off as long as its COVERD in crystal
some bud looks better fully trimmed others look better with a nice haircut.

As to the chlorophyll taste thats completely dependent on how you flush dry ect.

make sure its got crystal and your good

Cause it cured long enough

The shit u buy is probably trimmed using a trimming machine. It gives that nice tidy round look on buds and many commercial growers these days I'd imagine would be using them.
It can also make shit buds look decent lol

Yes, I was thinking that after watching a video with a trimmer. I notice that the buds I get from the collective are very tiny. They don't have any 1/2 oz colas hanging around. They're all dime sized and smaller. I guess they use a machine on the buds I'd likely toss into the hash pile. I think they also break up all of the big buds. Makes for easier weighing and distribution I suppose.
