Always loved growing things, besides cannabis I have kept numerous orchid species, succulents, and carnivorous plants. Ought to see my veggie garden!

Then tuned in here at RIU for a spell before starting a "Real grow". One with some direction and specific controls.

Dude it’s a fucking weed , throw some seeds on the sidewalk ( those seeds need to from a nickel bag of Mexican brick weed) and your golden. That’s what I did 45 years ago and it still works. Otherwise you’ll need to invest a fortune just to get knats and budrot.

Seriously though newby central is a good place to start. There’s lots of people there that a genuine and can hold hands long enough to get a noob on the right track. I’ve been there… I got some advice…I gave some advice…. I just got tired of answering the same damn questions over and over because noobs don’t want to research old post .

One day (when I was 13) I was bushhogging Uncle Snapper's field. Cousin Mickie sat on the fender for a couple three rounds and burned one with me. He taught me everything I needed to know while we were smoking. He said to dig your holes in November. Make them as big as a number two washtub. Buy dumb stuff you. Waste a couple hundred bucks on what the grow store guy says to buy.
After that.. you’ll immediately start picking up on things.
I’m just playing.. don’t do what I did.
I watched lots of normal gardening videos on YouTube. Read lots of articles in the newbie section here.
I played with one plant.. and messed it up. Took clones.. messed those up too.. then I bought some seeds. Started taking it more serious as I went.
Google is your best friend next to trial & error. Look for popular answers to questions.. not just anything, or the first thing that pops up.
Learn the KISS and LITFA methods for starters.
