Well, back in the "Stone Age", we relied on our nearest star, good ol' Mr. Sun! Most "quality" weed was grown in the tropical belt of the world, and imported in to Western countries. Artificial growing really didn't gather steam, and have a following until the early to late 70's [at least in the US], unless you were fortunate enough to work/know someone in the agriculture/floral industry. It surffices to say, artificial production has done 2 things: 1) Improved plant genetics, and 2) Allowed more people to "grow your own". I like outdoor gardening, but, I like gardening indoors MUCH better!...:blsmoke:

Ah yes the good old days back before we had electricity. No electric so no lights. As Nelson said all we had was the sun. But where I live we also had some brillant young men who decided to experiment with the genetics of marijuana. Maybe it was just in the Pacific Northwest but they came up with a little thing called Tiller Killer. It was on the cover of High Times. These young men lived just a stones throw away but their legacy will live on forever.
