How did you get busted, how did the legal process go, how good of a lawyer did you get, what was the punishment?

I got a 3 year deferred sentence in a state that treats growing worse than murder for nearly 300 plants (I have an expensive but outstanding lawyer!, best money I have ever spent.)

You were risking a stupidly huge prison sentence and didnt even sell? What exactly does someone do with 300 fucking plants?

i went from shitty as fuck to great. had a job paying 9.40 an hour...now have a job making 100k/year working in the oil field (free company housing too)

I got my medical script in September, bought a grow setup in October, and just harvested this week enough to return my investment 200%. Unfortunately however, I only have $200 in the bank to get me through the end of the year..

It's been a fucking crazy year! I started my current job last year in November. I just got the call from my boss wants me to be a supervisor at a new location.
My mom got layer off from her job of 30 + years. They got rid of her to hire a few younger people and pay them half as much. Yay America! Parents had to go into bankruptcy to keep the house they raised me and my brother in. I had to put down two cats, and one of the two dogs. Times are tough but as humans, we are designed to pull through and persevere when times are tough.

My last year was just O.K.

At the end of the summer I bought a bunch of Fem Seeds 99.9% - thought I was cruzin

Giant Plants - Flipped them 8 out of 10 males - wasted 2 months.

But I kept my Pre-92 Bubba mother, got the White Widow going...

Should be a good year - doing a perpetual grow :joint::peace:

They came from Sancuary Seeds - Humbolt, CA - sold through a local club.

I now know that they are peddling phony and garbage seeds

Let's see, 2011 was a pretty good year. Managed to keep my job despite tons of layoffs all around me, Kids are doing great, girl is about to graduate high school and son's whooping ass on the b-ball team. Wife is happy, dogs are well fed, and I have 12 beautiful girls popping up in my secret garden. All in all, a pretty good year! Hope 2012 is a kick ass year for all of us. It had better be, since it's the last!!

I don't think I understand. If you never sold or smoked it, how was a narc even involved? And why spend so much time and money to grow 300 plants if they're just getting trashed? It's like working a full time job but refusing the paycheck. I must be missing something, here.

Anyways, my 2011 was OK. Continued the op I set up last year but slacked off a lot due to stress from my job so it became a pretty inefficient set up. Lots of empty spots in the flower room. Probably pulled 8-10lbs all year (don't have the numbers with me). I've found new motivation, though, and am moving to a bigger, nicer place where I can set up the grow of my dreams.

For me, 2011 was the year of the routine.
2012 is the year of ambition.

How long does it take to go from never growing anything before in your life to having a completely self sustaining hydroponic grow operation? I had just perfected the processes from clone to cure, burning everything along the way so as to not get busted. The end goal was to grow medicinal quality in an illegal state and then have it moved to a legal dispensary.
