I would invest into a good scrubber unit like i have a Can33 carbon filter and a 6 inch 460cfm inline fan scrubbing my air and moving it 15 feet to elimite smell and heat. Just need a cool tube and a 4 inch push fan with hose to intake and ill be good myself but do with what ya have is my motto unless can afford better of course!

Extractor fan and carbon filter.
If that's not enough, ona gel and an ozone generator.

in some cases it's spend the money or do the time, I'd much rather spend the money on a carbon scrubber than go to jail.depending on your room you could get by with maybe 2 bills for a filter and a fan.

filters don't last forever but they work out to costing a couple pennies a day (not including the power the fan uses) and certainly do the trick.

at the very least I'd recommend a couple ona mist dispensers and refills to go with it, ona is good stuff, it'll cost you more than mothballs but the results will be much better. the dispensers are like 20 bux or so I think, they can be set to dispense a spray every so often. refill cans of the mist are like 10 bux or so.

I have a Bottle of Febreeze x2 ($4.97ea) and a bucket ($6.50) full of it with a small fan ($9.99) slightly above it to keep the smell moving, Working great so far.
