how do i convince my wife to let me grow?

Tell her that the money you would have used to BUY weed. that she can have it for herself

tell her that your tired of wasteing "OUR" money on pot not ours as in mine and your but as you 2 say this "im tired of wasteing our money on pot and when i go to pick up my shit i have to look out for the cops in fear of being arrested and took down by the pigs"

i said this to my mom when i was 15 and she found out i smoked and started growing in my closet, she had a goverment job and shit too.

would you rather me smoke legal ciggeretts, die early and be trapped or smoke weed and be free of addiction - i also said that to my mom since she smokes when i was 15 to be allowed to smoke these work

Well I'll be honest with ya from my point of view... i'm in my late 20's married, and we have our own home... and wow, I went through the same thing.. we've been together for 5 years... she's the goody 2 shoe never smoked drank had sex before marriage type blah blah.. i'm the whore ex drinker, smoker (not ex smoker) smoker lol and very light cig smoker (only when I smoke green) and it was a bitch.. I started (after we were married of course) talking about my younger days and how I smoked with a few certain buddies all the time.. cruisin around playin games, watchin movies ect... and that I used to grow before I met her... wow she didn't know what to say or how to take it... i've tried and tried and tried to get her to try a hit or 2 and she wont... I go in my garage/workshop and smoke when she's home... I really dont have a problem with it... we get along great it's just she's a goody 2 and thinks weed is the devil... and what really pisses me off (i'm going off topic lol now this got me goin) is when I had the conversation with her on why she thinks it's so bad she goes... "it makes you dumb and retarded" ... dumb and retarded ? then I thought to myself oh ya... here we go again.. remember back in school where they always labeled marijuana as a startup drug.... or that it fries your brain and had commercials of ppl acting all dumb and crazy saying they're high from marijuana... wow that shit pisses me off.. so in her mind if she smokes she'll be hooked for life like a crack addict who's dumb and fryin ones brain... *WHAACCCKKKKKK (backhand) snap out of it hun you'll be ok ... lol...
but anyway... one day a while ago I just started slowly buying things for my grow and she asked me what it was for And i told her lol... she laughed it off like i was joking ,,, but when she saw the hps lights and the hydro system componets and the nutes and fluoros she became amazed and intrigued... Now that i'm on my 5 grow since weve been together.. when I'm at work she's takin after my plants lol ... but still can't seem to get her to try a hit lol...

so I guess maybe this could help IDK ... if you two are happy and she loves you then she should be understanding... but you have to look at it from each side... seriously... I mean come on i'm all for marijuana but ... from your side... you smoke and she doesn't... you spend money on weed going to different dealers, dealing with all that bullshit... and growing your own would do you alot of benifit... but from her view.. she doesn't smoke and when you two got together and married you didn't grow only smoked, growing is alot different then smoking... now your putting her in risk of getting her in trouble to. Meaning if anything happens and the "man" finds out your growing and get busted.. that could mean your whole life... (if you love her as much as I'm assuming you do) there's alot of different things you need to think about.. and i'm sure you have/are ... anyways... good luck man... if all else fails do a micro grow someting real small just tell her you wanna play around a little bit.. buy some cfls and a small cab and do that...

haha... when i'm baked I talk and talk and talk... exactly what i'm doing now.. i'm sorry i'm goin to hit it a few more times before the ol lady gets home...

i would certainly feel terrible should anything happen to her because of what i do. hopefully i can ask her what her concerns are, and take the time to reassure her i've got a great plan to eliminate those issues
