How do i get maximum yield but small plants

my grow box is only 4' all and i heard you can get maximum yield if you start flowering after the plant gets 6" is this true if not how can i do this?
 
it kinda depends on the strain.....lowrider is a small plant that would prob work for you
 
When you use "maximum yield" and "small plants" in the same sentence, it's like an oxymoran (or is that oximoron?).

Each different style of growing has it's own tradeoffs. And each one has fans that will swear "This is the only way to grow". Is everyone right - or is everyone wrong?
 
Get your lights right. 400w hps recommended.
then your nutes right.
always keep your ph in check.
then fim or top and scrog it :)


thing is.. if you dont get the basics down your final product will reflect your ignorance :(


as it did with me.. I harvested one plant with a dried weight of 40grams... but fluffy airy buds
 
right now i have 2 75w cfl's and 2 2' t12 fluorescent plant lights will that do the job or do i have to have a hps light?
