Hey guys

My 2 plants are going great - the one with the smaller buds has nice dense little nuggets (harvesting next week) and the other one with larger buds has very light/squishy buds...they're both the same age and strain and they've both had the same light, how do I make the buds denser on the plant which still has time to go? Is there any way or will they just get denser when nature decides?

no shit..... my 4 footer also has less dense nugs than my 2 footer.....i was just thinking of letting the 4 footer go longer.....

Now you come to mention it. the one with lighter buds IS 4-6 inches taller...guess I'll just give it another couple weeks - gonna try and harvest by end of sept for my next grow though! :bigjoint:

I read a book that changed my whole concept about plants. Basically it states that bigger plants do not always produce more than smaller plants if certain steps are followed in the grow. First of all, get the light as close as you can. Second when plants get too big, the lower branches do not get sufficient light and will not produce as much. I am thinking myself light placement along with all the other varialbles will do the trick

Depends on lighting, genetics, temperature, nutes. Closer lighting will mean less stretching. Try getting a fan fan to run all day and night on those girls.

yeah bigs plant need more light... outdoor growers dont have to worry about that though.... usually small plants grow better is cause there so close to the light indoors....

nah specifically if you wanna make them buds denser you'll wanna put a High pressure sodium light on it.
And mabey even 3, 10 min intervals of UV light a day.

Ive heard of this stuff called Gravity Flower Hardener. You can get it for around 24 dollars for an 8oz bottle. Search around on google and I think there are some testimonies on this forum somewhere. Hope that helps :-P
