light wont bend around corners,a small box w/ a couple bends will stop it from escaping. it does reflect so make the inside black

X2 on the elbow and some flat (not glossy nor satin) black buzz-bomb inside your ducting. I am wrapping up the lamp air intakes for my two-room setup, and used a couple cans of flat black inside the plenum and duct connectors to kill any errant light. I also installed a couple pieces of 2x6 within to act as baffles.

Maybe also a louvered 'dryer vent' piece to terminate the elbow? Paint the inside of it flat black too...

I'd get no sleep knowing light was escaping like that LOL!
