How Do People Get Busted?

ive been alone most of my life so im used to. isolation is just part of life, i dont want it but it just happend. whats gets you caught, selling bags that dont weigh out or giving fake bills back
I'm not sure why you settled into that feeling, unless you have had some undesirable situations that made you want to turn inward and be alone, I can understand, though I have always given the benefit of the doubt, seeing how we are all human and we make mistakes and wrong people when we do not intent to. Were you asking me what gets me caught or just stating in contribution to the thread ?

All billing is done by computer and rarely, if ever, get seen by human eyes. Now thats not to say that a slick detective couldn't put a meter reader guy on the payroll. Those "Smart Meters" scare me too. That's real-time monitoring of not only usage, but usage patterns as well. But again, it's all computerized, and rarely get seen by human eyes if the bill is paid on time. It's when the account goes into default that people start looking at it.
The bottom line is... You can do EVERYTHING right to protect your secrecy, but if you are doing more then a hobby grow indoors at home your electric usage will put you on the short list of suspects if anyone bothers to look.

Joe the plumber had no idea his tax status, and marital details would be made public just by asking a Presidential candidate a question. I guess my point is you are literally relying on strangers to keep their nose out of your business. --Good Luck!

burst pipe whilst your out , fire , cops turning up at your door for some totaly unrelated reason and many other unforseen things get you busted truth is , no matter how carefull you are there is a very good chance you will get busted , suppose you just have to accept that it could happen to you ANYTIME .

Just keep yourself safe. In all ways possible, if something makes you uncomfortable be cautious as to who you let know about it (if anyone), keep a tight knit group of confidant(s), above all else, know and understand The law(s) in all the forms that bind us.

An acquaintance once told me, "do your dirty by your lonesome". so I suppose if you bend that rule you better know the person as well as they know you.

Next to keeping it to yourself, smell is your greatest security concern. It permeates and is distinct, and will make people call the cops. Smell is automatic probable cause for the police to enter your home without a warrant.

If you are like me and don't smoke around the wife, that means not even in the house, you roll to the street. I smoke in the street constantly, and it's fun ;). Joints of weed, not bowls because they take away the stealth while you are constantly putting a lighter onto it, I usually smoke in the same few blocks because those are the ones that have the longest distances away from business and other shit that attracts wanna be narcs like flys on shit. I like to walk slow, and I keep an eye on who is in front of me and who is behind. There is a big median in the middle of the road that divides it, sometimes I cross over to that and keep walking in the center, in between the trees. It's easier to smoke at night, and it's just like a video game because you can only fuck up one time. Stay away from the fuckers (other people) while out walking, and you'll be okay ;)

yea Id say someone has to talk. i mean unless it's growing in plain view over a fence or some stupid shit . Here in oregon almost every bust you see is tied to either
A another type of crime ---- dumbasses
B sales and someone talked

I really don't think the leo around me have much time to spend on guys that have a plant or three for personal medication . cardholder or not .

Wanna get caught? Keep flossin... See where that Escalade gets you.

Don't wanna get caught? When delivering goods, always take the long way and don't burn. Take ridiculous turns; blend in with the dumbass tourists. When you arrive at your destination, circle the block a few more times... then leave... come back... circle the block again... if somebody's on your tail, then you'll know.

DEA is in my hometown right now apparently, just busted someone with 300 plants.

Good thing I don't have anything going ;-)

but, I heard that DEA only really come in if you have over 100 because it is not worth their time. Which is just retarded anyways.

Do you guys think even if someone snitched the cops would break down the door of someone growing 2 plants? lol

It's people that get themselves caught growing 100 damn plants, too greedy, they make it too easy for the cops to just roll in and have a hay day.

With 2 plants I don't think a single jury in America would send you to prison. If anyone on the jury find the law unjust they can vote not guilty and that's all it takes.
You sir need to do some reading they have a charge called simple possesion its one of the most commonly used charges man. Read cops will lock you up for a roach, if they give you a urine and you test positive, even if you tell them you had some. Cops willkick down your door if you had no plants in your house and they received a tip you had 1 dont drink the kool aid. Cops are there to police and believe it or not there is not that many people breaking violent laws just the small ones enough to land them probation and thats where it starts it keeps getting worst in worst they drive you to do drugs. Again dont be a fool the cops will lock you up for anything thats illegal and sometimes for things thats legal too.

1 plant or 1000, it's what they get paid to do. They get th big fish by collaring the small guy and getting the small guy to roll. They don't care about numbers, a bust is a bust, whether it's 100 plants or 6 clones, it plays out well in the press.

I meant DEA guys,

There is only like 200 DEA members in the US period, I doubt they're going to waste their time on someone with 3 plants for medical purposes. I know local PD will bust down door just for the fuck of it, but DEA? That would be fucked up! It only takes one person in the jury to find the law "unjust" and BAM your off free again!

There are over 5000 DEA agents, 2/3rds of which are stationed on foreign soil. Their budget is over 2.5 billion (US)

I believe you are referring to Jury Nullification. Yes, a jury certainly has that power, however the Supreme Court has decided that we have no constitutional right to have a jury instructed on that power. Since juries are invariably instructed that they are merely "triers of fact", getting acquitted because one juror thought the law is unjust just ain't gonna happen. If the prosecutor proves that you did what they accuse you of, the jury HAS to convict.

That statistic is from 'Weeds', the DEA website claims over 10,000 agents:blsmoke:
