How do the trichomes look ?

So without a proper loupe to really see....now it depends on the high you are looking for. Milky trichomes for a head high and more amber for couch-lock body high. Since this is your first grow, remove one of the lowest buds and dry it a day and see how the high is when you smoke it. Also, do some reading on drying and curing because that can make or break this entire grow. Good luck.
