3x the amount that your pot is...so if it's a 5 litre pot...you would use 15 litres to flush.
When you flush all you do is keep watering till all your water is gone. Water it then let it sit a minute then keep doing it..just till the water sinks.

Well the guys above are right. But i just water with plain old tap water. I get a bucket full and work my way around the pot slowly pouring water in, seems easiest this way. And do it until i see the water getting cleaner. My theory is when you flush your really FLUSH. Maybe a bucket of water to a 4-5 litre pot. Hope this helps. Oh and the reason your flushing is to get rid of salts and fertilizers that are in your plant which will give you a smoother better smoke.

PH'ing your water is something that you should ALWAYS do...some of you might not have to due to not having bad water...but it is always good to check it...cannabis doesn't like alkiline soil.
When you don't PH you water you always have the potential to lock out important nutrients that your plant needs.
The PH of your water should be around 6-6.5...7 is ok...but i would recomend it at about 6, it's what the plant likes.

also, you gotta flush when growing in soil to wash excess salt which can cause nutrient lockup.
which is lame.

Depends on why you are flushing.
if you have overfed your plants and need to remove chemicals and salts
or
you are flushing at the end of your grow to improve the taste of your finished bud.
For the first carry out the instructions already outlined, for the latter you can either use just water or buy a flushing solution for the last week of flowering.
