How do you kill Gnats?

I have gnats in my grow closet pretty sure they are fungus gnats. I have tried sprays, cleaning the grow closet and switching soil and letting the soil dry out more before watering. Nothing is working how do I kill these things. On I treated the soil for the fungus as well.

GoGnats kills them for me in 1 treatment usually.
that or Diatomaceous Earth

I had a gnat problem before i watered with neem oil and and a tiny bit of washin up liquid then covered the top of the soil in a inch of sand then Hung some sticky fly traps up in tent solved my problem

crushed mosquito dunks top-dressed onto soil. a fan facing a sticky trap depletes their numbers too.

Yeah I know. It was weird there where no flies I mean no flies for over a day then more must have hatched and it was quite a few. How dow you use the mosquito dunks?

lots of different types of bacillus are effective (mosquito dunks, gnatrol), go gnats is a decent product, sticky pads for catching them flying, or u cld just dry em out

the dunks are bacillus and u just break them um and put them in the water. they are designed for things like rain barrels and places where there is standing water

So the mosquito dunks are safe to use on the plants then? I have tried bright yellow sticky paper and there was no flies on it, its like they know to stay away from it.

that was really easy and effective to catch the adults flying around. I also used some stuff called azamax, ~$30, to kill the larvae in the soil. It's botanically derived so its safe for plants/humans. you are still in vegg?? correct???
