How do you prevent pests from coming through the intake duct of a grow tent or grow groom without reducing the air flow too greatly?

thanks

I use those household register filters and cut to size. They even keep out dust and other stuff and allow for free air-flow.

You can put a screen on it like a wire one or you can use like a cheesecloth or just get a towle and but it over the intake duct an put the tip of the towle in water to let the towle to slowly get wet the wet towle would reducethe air flow the most but keep out fungi ,pest ,and rogue pollon the most

i use the home filters cause they trap more than insects if you get the HEPA kind.

My system doesn't have the light leak problem because of the way it is designed the intake is shrouded from light but allows for free flow of air.

Two 90 degree bends should prevent most light leaks and sometimes just an L-bend will do the trick.
