How important is a dehumidifier during flower?

I will be flipping to 12/12 soon. My tent stays between 55 and 62 RH. How important is it to have a dehumidifier during flower?

About an 8 out of 10 depending on location.

Humidity regulates how much water it up takes. Dry air and the plant drinks more. With a humidity around 50%. The plant drinks slower. Slowing down the water up take to a balance where's the plant is happy. No fert burn at a given ppm.

About 10x more important than keeping the correct RH for veg.

Too high of a RH will ruin everything you've put into it.

Yes, get a decent size. One that will work for the room the tent is in. Maybe another small one for inside the tent.

If it becomes a battle, hopefully you can keep it around 40-50%.
I like to go a little lower late in flower. 35-45% in the last week.

I never used one with an active exhaust due to dry climate but I'm trying a semi-sealed closet and RH gets over 70 real quick.

It depends where you are in the world?
For me it's essential, my local ave humidity.

I couldn't be without a dehumidifier now it heats the tent cheaply and controls humidity.

If you have great air exchange you can prolly get away with no dehuey. You'll know after a cycle, by whether or not you get mold or mildew.

I would wait till you flip

Does flipping making the RH go down?

Dehumidifiers are a crucial piece of gear honestly. Get one bigger than what you think you need and keep spares. This is what I do at least I keep an anden 320 and always keep a spare on hand in case one goes down. Each room has a dedicated dehumidifier.
