Why are you doing a pc box grow if you plan to leave it half open?
isnt that what all pc box grows are like o_O? so like if you see from the other side you cant see any green but just a pc box :-)
i wanr ut half open so i can blow it with a fan i guess i smell flies too :P

Oh man for a "micro" grow..Dude place some dryer sheets around the room or rigged to a fan. cost 3 bucks at most and will only need em for possibly the last 5 weeks of the grow if that.

stand a carbon filter up next to it, slap a inline fan on it and let it just scrub the air in the room

use spray all over the apartment but especially near the entrance. Use ona gel/block near the grow case and pick low odor strains like northern lights, master kush, etc... Unless scrubbing a contained room it will be hard to completely eliminate odor but you can reduce and mask it reasonably well.

Good luck and I would try outdoor in Ontario like flower pharm said, but maybe not sativas due to growing time.
im in mich and BC texada timewarps done 4me by oct 10.and its big

Wait, what?

Research low odor strains and use Gonzo Odor Eliminator. Works for me with Special Kush, you can't smell it outside the open closet door

I have a carbon filter on a sealed box. Ona gel. I've used dryer sheets. Everything fails. My wife doesn't smoke an can always smell it. I have one plant auto fem in flower. Small 1-1/2 foot plant. I smoke outside. The smell is strongest in the room I'm growing, hits me like a wave when walking in the room. The first couple of days of drying really stink bad!
I have not tried odour controlling strains. Pc grow, worried aboot smell I wouldn't bother, in fact after the plant I'm growing now is done I won't be doing it in da house again. If I wasn't worried aboot smell I'd just grow it without odour control.
I have 9 auto fems ready to go outdoor soon, only takes like 2-1/2 months to finish. Outdoor alberta has a shit growing season but I've grown normal seeds too. It's not September yet.
Not saying its impossible but a lot of trouble for little gain.
