If it were me, I'd stay with the wing reflectors. I had 3 Sun System air-cooled hoods, and replaced the factory glass with high transmittance glass. I still lost about 15% of the light to the glass. With the stock glass that comes with the hoods, you'll lose about 25%. It's a trade off. Closer to the plants with less light, or a bit further and all the light. With good fans blowing across the tops, I was able to keep 3 1K lights about 14" to 16" above the tops with no heat issues.
Another consideration is light spread. The closer you get to the plants, the smaller your coverage area is. You can get to a point of diminished returns.

If you were more specific...it would help....

The out vent is outside what???? The 4x4x6 room, the basement, to outside, what do you mean dude?

The central air is from the house...what does this mean? Again, is there just a vent in the room basement near your room, inside the room, ducted, what??? You gotta be specific man.

I am taking my time to help you, please think about it a little bit, take some time yourself to think and then respond so you're sure I understand what you mean. Make sense?

the out vent in the grow room is circulating air outside my house and the in vent also located in the grow room is pulling air from in the house which is supplied from the central air

BigJess is right, I would leave things as is. If you have a good fan (Oscillating) blowing across them, you can get that 400 down to about a foot above them. NO MORE than 16" I'd think.

What the hell is that one in the red pot??? Can you get a close-up of it?? You got a nice Sat dom, and an Indica dom (looks like it anyway), but that one in the back looks like it's either in flower or something.

I agree, I haven't seen anything like that before, unless it's just because the pic isn't clear where that plant is concerned.

When it hits the dome is a good time to move to larger container. The sooner you get it in the final home the bigger it will get;
