How long until soil can go bad?

Hey guys, I'm growing a plant in a week and I still have enough soil plant it but I've had the bag for a couple weeks now.
So I was just wondering if it would be ok to use this soil or get another bag.

soil mix don't go bad as such

but whither's and decays with age or cold

keep your old bag at room temps is good

room temps keeps the bugs happy

happy bugs = happy soil= happy plants

you may wanna suppliement later

many too choose

consider worm castings but go lite

ps avoid miracle grow or others with artificial nute salts

Thank you for the reply man. I shouldn't have even posted this because I just spent 20 bucks on a single seed so I'm not taking any chances.
I use miracle gro so I am just going to get a new bag just in case.
