I have a Homebox XL( 4x4x7) and I am starting my first batch of clones up. How many 1 gallon bags under a 600 watt cooltube can I fit in that area??

i have a 4' x 9" tent and i can fit 40 to 45 1 gallon grow bags. these are some one gallon and 1/2 gallon bags;

eash of those containers hold 10, 1 gall bags.

I don't know much but I would suggest using larger bags and no more than twelve plants maximum in that space. Personally, unless I was doing a SoG/SCRoG or something I wouldn't try to flower more than nine in there. I imagine others will have more to say but if this is your first go you will likely see better results and less problems with fewer ladies to tend to. HTH :peace:

SOG and SCROG are COMPLETELY different. With a SCROG, you do less plants per square foot, veg them out.
SOG is 12/12 from clone, more plant numbers.

My goal is to get the most yield possible out of this strain that I'm doing. I am going to veg for 2-3 weeks then throw the clones in. The strain I'm doing is 90% sativa and stretches 4x it's size in flowering. Not doing this strain again for awhile after this cause of it's 12 week flowering time. I am finishing up a 8 plant , 5 gallon grow with the same strain in less than a month, so my thoughts were to throw as many clones in one gallon containers in my tent when the first grow is done. Thoughts? Opinions? Number of 1 gallons that can fit?

Following the formula of 50 watts/per plant, you would end up with 12.

If it flowers in 12 weeks, I am assuming it's sativa dom and going to stretch like crazy? If that's the case, you may want to stick to 12.
