I'm starting to see a major lack of motivation from people here on RIU.org to use the search options and to read previous posts that have been marked as either "stickyies" or "sub categories". ALL of this information has already been posted under the Indoor Growing sub-forum: CFL growing. If people aren't answering your questions regarding lighting, especially regarding CFL lighting, it is because the category and question has already been addressed in that sub-forum. Stop being so damn lazy and go read some of the forums. Nobody was ever promised that they would get immediate replies to their redundant questions regarding growing under all these different environments with a number of different variables.
Read a little bit people. That is the point of the forums. . . to provide information that can be searched for answers to your questions. These forums are not meant to be used to just throw out your questions anywhere you want, whenever you want. How are you ever going to get good at growing any great stuff if you're not willing to research a little on your own.
I don't mean to sound rude or harsh here. It's just. . . if you're a newbie to growing. . . at least show some desire to learn to do what you're doing by using some of your own trial and error, and reading up on some stuff a little before you start asking questions. I mean. . . how did you learn ANYTHING in school if you never bothered to read about what you were learning before you tried to put it into practice?
You obviously DIDN'T read everything then because I gave you the answer for your question in my first post on this thread. AND I got all MY information from the "stickies" in here as well as scouring the internet. I told you exactly what you need for 4-6 plants. Those were the minimum requirements. If you want more light, then add it. If you're seriously considering trying to bring up these babies as if you were their daddy, then at least learn how to translate a little bit of fuzzy math into your own logic and figure out that what you have isn't going to be enough. If you can't even provide enough lighting for your project of 4-6 at a time (as I had told you earlier by stating that you need 15-20 100W-150W equivalents) how the hell are you planning on paying for the energy consumption for them and the proper nutrients for them? Gee, stop doing everything "half assed" and try to put a little effort into your projects.
