I had six but in the interest of having a sea of containers I did a run of dry ice kiefmaking. Now I have the same stash only it is all pressed hashish.
of course the stone is different than flower but..... can't say it is worse. :)

there was an expression 'purple plateau' from over 20 years ago. i heard an older breeder mention there is something about the purple genes that mute certain terps. so, there might be some science as to why this is. way back we never wanted purple...it was almost always just green. when we got purple it was about 10% of the bc bud load. it was cool the first time, but i learned you can't get too high after a few times...it wasn't very potent compared to the normal beast. i wish i could just be ok with a single strain. i need a different one almost every bowl.

Usually 6 to choose from on a daily.

There are usually remnants from the last 2 or 3 grows.

I'm certain there is a stash of 2018 something in storage.

I mix and match daily.

No allegiance to any strain.

I would be interested in trying one of these, each chamber filled with a different strain.

Interesting. Everyone around here is all about the purple and have been for some time. I'm ok with it but would rather have a medium size, dense, green nug with an uplifting high.
There's so many strains I get that have little bits of purple in them it's almost unavoidable. Even my own seed crosses have a little purple way back but usually doesn't show.

i didn't even see purple weed until about 2002. i saw some slight blue on a homegrown blueberry cross in 2001, but that was it. by 2003 i could find purple shwag...which i grew out the few seeds there were. out of 100 plants none were purple, but i did have one red plant...it was not cold at all i had a 1000w hps with no venting running well over 85f.

I have Tropicana Cookies which is a great, tasty relaxing stone and then I recently harvested some Peyote Critical, Purple Punch, and a Crumpets #3 X Candy Rain #3 but I had to cut 'em down a little early. I'm waiting for them to cure but I discovered the Purple Punch has a great creative buzz. The verdict is still out on the other two. I'm hoping each has quite a different buzz. We'll see.
I keep 3 strains indoors, harvest a 4x4 every 3 weeks. I have 8 strains outside, one of which is purple punch. Thanks for the report, can't wait to fire up the bong and jam on guitar until I drive everyone out of the living room

She is fine! I don't get blueberry on the nose or taste, but smells great in a vague berry way. Hits the euphoria and anti-anxiety buttons nicely.
Sounds perfect. Thanks for sharing. I curremtly have those (still babies) and a few flo f5 to hopefully pair with the OTM. Also csi f1 durb x strawberry cough and f1 durb x cherry pie. A nice little mix.

Piece of advice:

Don't do a "strain grow-off" or like just versions of the same strain, unless you're already sitting on a variety of flower. I did a "PBB comparison run" without much if any backup stash, now all I'm smoking is three versions of the same strain, months on end :bigjoint:  lol! It gets quite boring

Agreed! I have a batch of lemon haze types in flower, and jarred up...some NL5, bag of oranges, and super silver silver haze. I have a small space but try to keep a variety on hand just for that reason.

I have 23 I've grown in two years, sitting in jars. And maybe 7 or so from dispensaries, most from about 8-9 years ago. Bunch of different pressed dry ice hash. But I don't smoke any of them. Why is this guy on here you might wonder? I don't know. Stranger things have happened.

I have two tents, usually one for indica and hybrids, and the other for sativas. Mostly autoflower. This next run I’m doing two sati leaning strains in one tent and hybrids in the other. Twenty20, Nightowl, JeanO genetics, and laughing hyena…
