Im looking to start a Sog grow but dont know how many clones to go with. Ill be using a 3x3 flood table and i want to grow many small plants . Tia

grow as many as you wish. you can cram 50 in small containers or 12 in larger ones, whatever you and your space can manage.
they'll grow to their weakest resource, you choose what that is, space, food, light, temps, c02, etc....

Well my light will be either 600 hps or 315 lec. I want them to be around 11-16 inches in height with no veg time do you think thats possible?

Ive never grown with clones so it will be a new style of growing for me

Clones take about 3 weeks to build a good root system and start growing. Many don't even count this 3 weeks, but I suggest if you have not used clones before, that you budget for it.
You may well be familiar, I am just posting for other people that are new, or new to clones.
I think I understand what you want to do better now. You could make one 3x3 tray filled quite densely, you could try 12 even as you want to grow small fast plants. Personally, I prefer a bit of vegging, but, I am also running a near 100 plant SOG at the moment. Sometimes situations change our demands and needs.

16. Veg 4-5 days. Pull one ounce per plant.

If you're not going to veg I would cram that 3x3 with as many as possible. Minimum 9. Maybe start with 9 and get a feel for it, then add more. There's goin to be some unknowns. Like access to plants in the back may be more difficult, forcing you to adapt. After the first go around you'll have it figured out.

Thanks man ill be using a flood table so wont be much of a problem to get into the back. I already had an estimate of about 10-15 just wanted to get some feedback from others
