How many plants under 1200w hps

I NEED HELP WITH THIS ONE RIU, SO MANY CAN I THROW UNDER 1200W HPS? AND ALSO WHAT KIND OF YEILD WILL I EXPECT I WILL BE USING 2X 600W HPS WILL BE VEGGING FOR 2MNTHS STRAINS ARE WHITE WIDOW,MASTER KUSH,SUPER LEMON HAZE,BLUE BERRY GUM,CHEMDOG,RED DIESEL X CHEESE HAMMERHEAD X CHEESE. It all depends on how big your grow room is, how big you want the plants to be, how much yield are you expecting etc...

100 real little ones.......or 12 real big ones. super-cropping/training? SOG? the answers are limitless. as dank says.....depends on your goals and style.

12 plants under each 600w lamp if vegged for 2 months. 16 apiece if vegged for 1 month.

whoa 12 after 2 months? damn i do six under each thou, yes b4 medical i would do nine. but 12 under each 6 after two months veg. That sounds like 12 huge plants for one 600, BUT i have never used a 600 for a full crop i have used one the first 2 weeks of flower but switched to a 1000. My 22 day hydro veg is about 24 inches, so for me two month veg would be double that so four feet. i just cant imagine needing 24 four foot plants for 1200 watts

2 x 600w hps = more lumens then 1 x 1000w a typical 1000w runs $250 when 2 x 600w hps are about $310 thats why 2 x 600w are better in my opinion. Thanks for your input everyone!
