Is there a general rule of thumb as to how many times the air should cycle in a tent per minute???

once per minutes thats pretty fast... I have a fan that is rated to clear my room once per minute the fan is 175 cfm my room is 168 cubic feet, so its just over the mark. But my setup is in a very cold basement 11-12Celcius (52-54F). Its sucking that cold air in way too fast for my 400mh, I have a 4 foot baseboard heater in there and it wont even turn off because its still cold in there. Kinda silly cause im running a 400 watt light and I think Im burning around 1300 watts will everything that I have plugged in there trying to keep the air good. DAMN! any suggestions? I tried partially plugging the intake to the fan but i stopped doing that as I know its bad for the fan motor, I have the fan turned off now and its still too cold (19-20c or 65-69F)... My plants are only 4 inches tall with 2 leaflet sets, so I dont think they will suck out all the CO2 very fast...

any suggestions? also having a hard time keeping humity up, my plants are wilting a bit, I think they are getting dried out from the air, seems the RH drops pretty fast when you raise temperature from 12 to 20c(54 to 69F)
Thanks for any help

I'm no pro... but I think I'd be more worried about my temps right now... forget CO2 for the time being.... just get those temps under control first... but PLEASE... if anyone tells you I'm wrong then I am... absolutely... just my gut instinct on the information provided~ I would get that temp to about 78F and then start messing with circulation... just my opinion tho~

just had another thought... you're room is pretty large....( compared to my tent anyway) maybe put something to contain some of the heat the MH is throwing off.... in other words try to make the immediate growspace smaller... maybe some of the guys and gals here can offer a suggestion that is better though... gl my friend

that was kind of what I was thinking Greedyfly... just something to contain some of the heat.... seems like a good idea for him~

so its almost 3:30am now... just finished installing a second baseboard heater in there... I burned out three 60w light bulbs and electrocuted myself once haha(dont ask lol)... Im not sure what the watt rating is on that size baseboard but I think it might be 750w hahahhaha wtf... so im burning 1500watts an hour just keep it warm in there... but im happy because it tells me I can use those watts to burn bulbs and not have to worry about heat(though who knows I bet light bulbs heat more efficiently than those damn baseboard heaters).

Dont think Ill be putting any sheeting up though, not until I spend some time tidying up the room, just got it set up like I said so i have wires hanging all over the place, trying not to let the timers get knocked... bumped my head on my ballast a couple times... I think I need some sleep, thanks for the help

temps are pretty decent now, keeping it at 70 for the night, and itll go up a bit in the day. Gotta do some research where it should be exactly. You say 78 is perfect? Im guessing thats day-time, any suggestions for night-time temp?
