I just got some bud candy for my plant. It says 2ml per litre. so what would that be for 1gallon of water? I mean is it 1tsp or 1tbs per gallon? can anyone please tell me? Also do I mix bud candy with my other nutes or just bud candy/water every other watering?

About 4 liters per gallon so 8ml per gallon.

A teaspoon is 5ml, tablespoon is 15ml.

BUT. Some good cheap molasses is a great substitute for expensive Bud Candy. I assume it's expensive, I have never bought it though.

You can mix in bud candy with whatever. Just don't mix bud candy or nutes together in concentrated form.

When I was using Advanced I was mixing in 5 gallon buckets. I would mix 40ml of A and 40ml of B for a good base and add 20ml of each supplemet I was using that week. I had excellent results with this formula. I have switched from Advanced and I like my flavors better. My harvests were amazing but I didnt like the flavor from Advanced Nutes. Let me recommend Sweet from botanicare. It will make your plants taste better than Bud Candy does.

I'm something of a stickler (or you could call it OCD) when it comes to imperial measurements. There are no "around about's" with me!

1 gallon = 4.54 litres
1 teaspoon = 5.9ml
1 tablespoon = 17.7ml

Actually.

It's

4.92 ml= 1 teaspoon

14.78 ml= 1 tablespoon

3.78 liters= 1 US gallon

For a stickler you are way off friend.

Ah the confusion of US vs. UK imperial measurements raises it's ugly head again. I'm not way off in my own country.

I use anywhere from 20ml to 45ml per 5 gallons of bud candy. I also use the sweet Irie suggested as well. Never used them on their own, only within my schedule but the schedule works well so I assume both are good suppliments.

Hey Bear Smokey, If im correct that your grow medium will be soil/soil less outdoor ?

I did tried this bud candy from last year for my soilless grow, i cant tell difference...even i use grandma s molassess, i still cant tell difference, all i know that molassess will feed microbes only, the taste and aroma is in the genetic, JMHO.

some posters are correct about 8ML per Gallon.

happy gardening.

so should I try bud candy or just use molasses? I bought a 4oz bottle for like 5 bucks just to try. I do have grandmas molasses aswell.

Even though the Directions on the bottle state 2ml per liter, I usually put about 24ml per 5 gallon bucket. In the past had a terrible experience from over feeding so I try to keep the nutes at half strength and let the genetics and my plants enviornment do the rest.

I would strongly disagree with the molasses thing. I know some people swear by it but I used it one time and was SOOO sorry that I did. The jars smelled like, I dunno Teatley tea bags or something, it was just plain awful. They say it was because I used Grandmas because its what I had around the house. They say a black strap molasses is better, but I'll never get it anywhere near my plants again. They just dont need it.
Bud Candy is supposed to be a bud enhancer improving size and yield as well as adding sugars and that is something different. I'd say use it

Fuck that molasses I say.....

then use the grandma s molassess...use one teaspoon per gallon , I know a lot of growers would recommend you to use one tablespoon but it will be easy to dissolve in the jug when you shake...and give soil time to break down the molassess before feed to the mircobes. i would highly recommend you to use molassess once every two weeks.

happy gardening.

I like bud candy really. I have gone without, then added later, adn always see a difference when i use it in bud size. i dont use it with every feeding tho. but i think 8ml a gallon is high, so i usually go with 4-5ml per gallon.
