alright so im gonna do some outdoor growing when it gets a little warmer.
this is my first grow but ive been doing research and reading as much as i can and get as much knowledge as possible. ive been thinking of doing easy sativa, an auto flowering plant that can produce up to 900g outdoors. how much is realistic amount? should i top or fim or anything?
thanks! :joint:

First thing the sativas take a long time to finish. Ya want to go with a indica. THe more dirt the more roots the more roots the bigger the plant.

You could get them really big if you vegged indoors for the winter months then put them outside.

i plan to start them inside for maybe 3 weeks before the first frost. where i live its around may 10. then move them outside into big pots. the strain easy sativa is supposed to be vegged at least 8 weeks but if i started them mid april that would be btween 12 and 14. how big would they get? and would topping/fimming increase my yeild?
thanks! :hump:

By the time it came to flower, you'd probably have some monsters... as for finishing...12/12 where i live starts around mid august and that would take flowering into early-mid November. I would still recommend an indica variety or at least something that isn't full sativa. Topping would definitely increase your yield. I also guess that you are going to have to stake down your buds when flowering is in full swing. Those sativas get top heavy often.

awesome, ill definitely top one of them. i dont want to do it to all of them just incase i totally mess something up, considering ive never grown before, but ill try it. yea the easy sativa is actually crossed with some indica, i dont know what one but im not worried about it. if its true they start flowering mid july they should be done mid september or at least by the beginning of october. heres what it says from the website i want to order them from:

Easy Sativa Is an excellent commercial strain. It is very easy to grow and produces large crystalline buds with a sweet aroma and taste. Easy sativa is predominately Sativa, though a special Indica has been introduced to increase potency, while maintaining the clear sativa high. Easy Sativa is suitable for indoor or Outdoor cultivation. One of the best outdoor bud producers in Holland! Most of them flower under 18 hrs light and start flowering half July and reward you with a gigantic amount of large buds in September. There is some variation in bud shape and taste (between spicy and sweet), but all a clear sativa high. Well worth a try!

It also says the flowering time is 7 weeks but its in a box when i copy/paste it it gets all messed up.
