theres still alot of white hairs from what i can see. You ever buy a bag with white pistils still on the bud? I would wait two weeks but then again you need to take closer pics for people to give a good estimated time.

You have 2-3 weeks left. If you cut that now you'll loose all your weight. Maybe this can help is you haven't seen it.

As the plant matures the new calyx (flower) will form making new pistals (hairs). As each calyx ripen the pistals in those individual calyx will shrivel and receed back. You're going to see a bunch of new calyx form with new pistals that shrivel, that's what makes up the bud. When it comes time to harvest you're going to be looking for a number of things at once, not just the trich color like everyone says, there's more to it.
Here's the order the plant matures so you know what to expect-

1. calyx and pistals form
2. pistal hairs turn color and shrivel back to calyx which will have started swelling
3. calyx swell with resin
4. **Now is when to look for trich color**

The trichomes can start changing color from the time they develope so you can't rely on just that to judge harvest time and pistals have nothing to do with it since they form and shrivel up up until harvest.

Your plants ar about to swell over the next few weeks so be patient or it'll be a waste of time.

i would also invest in a better light for flowering i see one of the lights you are using is a mercury vapor which isnt the best for growing the spectrum is very far from veg 7000-5000k and 2000k to 4000k actually the mv is right inbetween the two both is would focus on my light ext grow!! good luck though and i say about another 2 weeks also :)

Dude I have had sativas go 15 weeks and you are ready to chop at less than 8? Those budds will still quadruple in size. If you chop that now you will be lucky to get a 1/2 oz. of weed that will get you slightly high for like 15 minutes. What ubtil the trichs say bro or you are completely wasting the whole plant.

Amen to that. Watch those suckers fatten up. Smoke a test nuggie, then cure it nice and good. Patience is a virtue.

just replaced the 70 watt mercury vapor with a 150 HPS so now shes under 300 watts HPS. thanks for all the info i guess ill be waiting a few more weeks. just smoked a test nugget that dryed for 6 days and it was a great high and great expansion but not great taste. i will defenitely be curing for a while.
