How much to prune?

I'm on day #2 of flowering. I pruned a few small leaves and branches at the very bottom a few days ago. I'm thinking it needs to be pruned more produce big buds. Should I prune all of the lower branches?

Any rule of thumb when it comes to pruning?

I find it's strain and lighting dependent but usually I trim anything 36" or more from my 600 watt horizontal bulb.
 
My strains:
1) Girl Scout Cookies
2) Blue Dream
3) Double Dream
4) Sour Diesel
5) Key Lime Pie

All on day #2 flowering. All around the same height...I'm keeping the taller plants on the outside and the shorter ones concentrated near the center.
 
I'm debating about pruning the lower branches that don't receive much light? Yes or no?
 
try waiting till day 20-21 and then prune the bottom third. actually it all depends how crowded your grow space is. if its not very crowded then theres no reason u can't basically grow out almost the whole plant.
 
I don't want to prune much that far into flowering unless I have too. I'm thinking about cutting off the lower 1/4 for greater bud development.
