How much yield from eight 660 watt lights

I just switched back to a 4 x 8 tent....2 lights, and 8 plants total. Yield was a little low...I hoped for 2 pounds from the room....which would be 4 oz per plant.

I actually only harvested one plant and a little early so hopefully they all fatten up a bit more.

I'm about to make the switch to coco, from soil, on my next run. And one of these days I'll switch to LED!!

I have sooooo much HPS equipment :( It's almost worthless now!!
Coco perlite 70/30 is my favourite soil, I use to hit 5-6 ounces off 3 hps lights every grow with old school strains like cheese and blue cheese etc, since trying a lot of newer strains the yeild has been less around 3.5-4oz plants at most, I have a good strain on now peach gelato which yeilds decent from aal mate so with 8 hps lights over 16plants I’m hoping for 5-6 ounce per again

My brother uses zues lumatek 600w leds 4 in his room, gets a good yeild and the quality is amazing, wouldn’t say it adds to much to yeild led but the quality of weed is amazing

so you have 8 660w hps lights with 2 plants in 5 gal pots under each? lmfao 5 gal pots are pretty small man id say half a pound a light....... so if you have 8 lights............. 4 lb's if your lucky.....

Why would you run the digital ballast at max 660w, unless you are doing that before binning the bulbs...keep it at 600... and by guess on the amount of W, which is 4800w of hps you'll prob get about half a gram a watt so my estimate is 2400 grams , maybe less for asking this question...more if ur lucky.

So "Bout a pound " X5.

Out of a 2010 Barneys Farm G13 x Haze clone. And Promix BX as the medium.

Under 1000w Hortilux HPS, Ive done a best of a bit over 1100 grams. With 8 plants in 5 gallon containers, in a 4 x 4 area. About 5oz for each container. Or 1oz for each gallon of soil. But most strains wont produce like this one.
Also had a 40 day veg under 1000w Hortilux at 24/0. I start seeds under 1000w Hortilux. At 24 inches. And after clones are rooted they go straight under 1000w. We also have 1150w DE Gavita, and a 1700e Gavita. And I ordered 2 of the new Mammoth 880w Mint White Series LED which are 2713 umol.
And the G13 x Haze stretches 3-4x its size in a 5 gallon container, and will stretch 6-7 times its size in a 20 gallon container. In 20 gallons of soil though, I bend the plants over, and grow a hedge. I can get a 25oz from a single G13 x Haze plant in a 4 x 4 area, 60 day veg, and a 1000w Hortilux HPS. bent over.
We have a 2010 Barneys Farm G13 x Haze mother plant. We went through 50 females to get this one. And the new stuff aint the same.

Call me old fashioned though.. I still like single ended, and DE HID

If you could do as well in a 3 x 24 area, which is what 8 x 600w HPS is best for. At a best I would expect 24oz per light with y G13 x Haze. But like I said. Few strains can match the G13 x Haze. I wouldnt grow more than 4 plants in a 5 gallon bucket in each 3 x 3 area. So that would be 32 5 gallon containers.

Also a 1000w Hortilux HPS is 62.5w Sq/Ft in a 4 x 4, and a 600w in a 3 x 3 is 66w sq/ft. I also wouldnt use anything other than a Hortilux HPS bulb.

But in most cases expect .8 of a gram per watt if you have a really, really good plant. And everything is dialed in really good. For me other than genetic potential, constant fresh air exchange is one of the biggest keys to getting a big yield.

So realistically Id hope for about 17oz per light. 136oz for 8 lights. Its also alot easier to get these numbers by clone, and mother plant selection. Seeds can vary to much.
And as others have stated. And not including genetics. A lot depends on veg time. I myself dont top, and mostly look for strains that stretch like a motherfucker after flip.

How much yeild can be expected from 16 plants , two plants under 1 660watt light each there is eight 660 hps lights on total and the plants are in 20 liters (5 gallon) pots , what is the realistic yeild I can expect from this type of set up, temperature is perfect and feeding schedule is perfect
So many pounds bro

I have 16-14 per table and not uncommon to hit 130g of 1.
But not un common to only hit 40g on one.
Mono crop and making sure all your clones are nice even in size are key.

I change my bulbs every grow so like to get the most out of them so when I hit day 21 flower I turn them all the way upto 660w
