How Much Yield

Ok if i have like 5 cfl at 24 watts, 4 hps at 150 watts, 2 hps at 75 watts, 1 cfl at 42 watts, and 3`4ft tubes at 40 watts, thats around 1000 watts. Does that mean i have potential to grow like 500 grams on ten or so plants?

y so many different lights...just go with 2 600 watters...far more intensity imo. or just a 1000 watt mh/hps..alot less complicated

lights were given to me and or "found" havent spent more then 50 so far but is my theory correct as far as wattage and yield for 10 plants?

500 grams in ten plants. thats about 2oz per plant...i think with all of your lights and the ability to position them in numberous ways does make it very possible to reach your goal. have you decided on a strain? ur also gonna need some exhaust in there...good luck to ya though bud.

it wont be quite as efficient as a 1KW HPS, because thats about the best lumens/watt you can get in a light, BUT it is a SIGNIFICANT amount of lumens, and enough to get some decent weight... if you are a first time grower, and you have never set anything up like this, i would say you could get from 0-8oz dried... once you get it perfected, you could possibly get up to 14oz... about .4g/watt... if you do some advanced stuff, which requires more attention, like topping, FIM'ing, or screening - in a hydro system, you could get over .5g/watt - i've seen up to 1g/watt but that was in a small cabinet with a small hps and a screen - and probably run longer than 3 months.... I started with some shitty T12 flouros, anything can be done.
