And this is what I am asking. How old are you versus your experience level? Follow up with something like this...

Just neat to see how good people are versus how old they are. I consider myself...

I have spent 100's of hours reading on this site and others but it helps nothing untill you put it in practice. I have only begun doing that.

I've tried lst, soil, organic, SOG, perpetuall harvest, bag seed, clones, bought seed, double potting , and on and on etc.

One thing I have learned alot is the patience part. This part is universal, use it everywhere not just to grow weed.

nongreenthumb!!!

sry if I'm wrong, but were you the dude who turned his plant on it's side while flowering and yeilded a huge harvest? I am about to start a new grow journal for 2 clones that I'm vegging, the plan is to turn them about a week before 12/12 to alow the branches to turn up. if this was you I would be very gratefull for ne advice on this operation. Peace.

Cool everyone I thought this thread would be a neat idea turned out to be!!! Just shows that age and experience vary so much! I dont see why marijuana is such a bad thing. It's bringing us all together!!! and giving us a very safe, fun, and educationally productive hobby! This site encourages people and kids to read which many people do to little of! The U.s. Gov. is stupid! grrrr

yeah thats true. im only growing because nobody has the balls to actually help me buy some in portland or i get skimped on these little (and i apologize for the slander, i swear im not racist thats just what they call it) nigger bags where its either twisted up in the corner of a baggy and barely weighs or those little crack bags with designs on them. im spending a shit ton of money on supplies but at least im not spending it on shitty weed that doesnt weigh or is watered down to even weigh what it does. i probably wont even get any buds off of this plant but experience pays off.

so i remember the 70's. i was young. to young to even smoke. my dad said a doobie was $0.50. he always thought i was smoking it. i smoked my first hit probably in 1980. didn't plant my first seed until 1985. the only information available at the time was "Marijuana Grower's Guide". 1 copy passed around for years. we grew under shop lights in my friends attic. his mom found out. we gave most away. tried to hide a few in the yard. she found them and mowed them. the ones we gave away got little buds but back then a leaf was good. "home grown" was CRAP. we would take "mexican" over "home grown" any day of the week. no one knew how to grow it. then if they did attempt it any yield of leaf or what not was considered good. it got you somewhat high. i've been doing some type of growing ever since. most my learning is self taught. many years i only grew 1 or 2 small plants but i did numerous experiments while growing them. a lot of it has been washed away by todays intense growing practices. when i think back i wish i only knew half of what i know today. i often get caught up and lost in "bells and whistles" type growing. on the other hand; this is not grandpas' weed we are growing today. the genetics of today are a lot different then the 80's.
