how sad....

today i had to cut on one of my little girls a set of 6 baby nanners pop on one of my plants booo!!! i caught them really early so hopefully there will be no more!! and the funny thing is on the same node on the other side of the bud were female flowers sooo hmmmm..... i chopped the little stem down carefully and and in a diff room with wet snips snipped the nanners off into a bag of water and the tossed it to keep pollen from spreading but i guess what i found weird was there were 6 nanners at the same spot......

i check every spot on the rest of the plants took a while but i checked every node the rest are all females

anyone ever run across this

yeah man i had a hermie. kept shooting those nanners out and one dude told me quit playing around and kill it. after a week and 3 more branches popping with nanners i did kill it. makes you sad tho. but best to keep the rest seed free

yeah im just going to keep a watchful eye on em pluck em if i see anymore but if they do start popping everywhere its going to get the axe! just would like to give it more time under the lights before i do so

If your not legal be careful of throwing anything away...burn all organic material or throw it in the woods and all garbage should be thrown away at someone elses house if possible...

Also man if it's herming you need to just face the music abs Chop it lol...best case scenario is it only makes one two more pollen sacks from inside a buds and you never see it until you're pollinated..most likely it will not stop the full on herm...

^?????? Huuuuh lol....pistils are the part that contain the stamen,style, and ovary, many call it a calyx whether that is also correct i'm not sure right now..the pistils are what make up buds lmao!! So Idk what you rather mostly smoke, leaves?? Loljk..plus nothing to smoke on a just flipped hermed plant just trash it.

yeah i think im just going to keep an eagle eye on it a different plant did this before about 1 1/4 month ago only on one node of the whole plant i got rid of them and it didnt affect the rest of the ladies in there, today when i saw these six nanners on it (diff plant) and only on one little bud i figured id try what i did last time and wait it out and see what happens after plucking the problem node but thanks everyone for the advise i may have to cut it i dont want to but i will if it still is a problem

actually the pistils are the strings that protrude from the calyx. pistols have no trichromes on them and in a big sized bud they recede inside mostly and the ratio of trichroms and buds and pistils is more balanced. in the beginning of flower theres calyxes and long pistils comming out. my hermied plant i harvested netted me around 4.5 gs of good bud but i did pull the majority of the pistils off. def keep a real close eye on it. my pollen sacks were actually growing mostly under the buds and was hard to find right away. good luck bromide

yeah i honestly think that i had a light leak and i took care of that tonight i sat in the room when lights went out and i found a very small leak it couldve been the reason behind it the spot on the bud where it formed was right where the light leak was at so I am hoping that takes care of it but thanks everyone ill keep yall posted on what happens in the coming days

Not correct, the hair is called a stigma and style depending exactly which part of it not a pistil!! The calyx is the individual pear shaped green thing the hairs go into, the hair is attached to the ovary inside the calyx and these three parts combined inside the calyx are called the pistil, so you can't smoke pistils without the calyx covered in trichs unless you do surgery lol

Hermies can very often be genetic. You're playing with fire keeping those seeds.

this is my hermie, "it" just finished drying. I probably plucked a few hundred over the past couple weeks. imo, completely worth it.

nerdzo that looks great and for the rest of it all i have spent countless hours in there since and i have only found a total of none!! i think it just happened to be a fluke of some sort in the genetics it was one node one little bud hasnt happened since and it happened to one node one bud very early into flower chopped the bud off and it is the best looking plant in my arsenal todate so yes planing with fire can be costly yes but also very rewarding as long as you are very careful and take your time with what you do and as long as it was just one node of one bud id figure id gamble and this time it paid off if it were to be showing on other buds and nodes around the plant it would've been gone that instant so that being said im pretty happy

next subject: transplanting; they (clones) are in solo cups right now and the roots are coming outta the drain holes yikes!!! so now its transplanting time!!! i have decided to try and keep them small and not let them get so big this time so i can have more of the perpetual thing going on.
clones were in a domed cloner for about 8 days and then they went straight into 12/12 and they are loving it starting to bud and show tryichs and im loving that!!

the few little buds i cut down were "awesome and the high was amazing" said my wife
i didnt get to smoke any of it but thats ok id rather wait till after harvest and the curing process is done i smoke for the great taste along with the high too but bud that gets you high and taste like shit in my opinion is worth less than a "middy"
