Been getting low yields so im trying to improve, from seed how can i improve my grow plan? I got 12 feminized kush seedlings almost 3 weeks old now im 1 gallon pots, my flower room is 30 in wide 38 inch long and 63 inches tall. Im running 600 watts leds for vegg, the seedlings had cfl for almost 3 weeks. How much longer should i vegg? I dont plan on topping supercroppin seems to really stun growth which is bad for this slow veggin plant.

hey noob . your grow room is way too small for 12 plants, i have two plants in 100 x 100 x 170 cms and they have completely taken up all the space during flower, your plants are gonna be fighting for light .. more plants does not mean more yield. as your plants enter the flowering stage your gonna need a hell of a lot more height space. .. i usually veg for 50 days from seed , just to give the plant enough time to grow lots of nodes/bud sites, this gives greater yield

exactly i grow afgan and veg 5 weeks from clones plants end up being 26 to 28 " tall when i switch to flower i am in 4 th week and to give u an idea there 46" tall now i would look for a bigger place to grow your goin to need height and for 12 plants at least half of a full sized bedroom

You have about 8 sq. ft of floor space, enough for a few medium sized plants or maybe 5 smaller ones. As the others noted the plants can easily double in size by mid-way through flowering, and then they should stop stretching. Also, bigger plants are not always better unless you plan to incorporate sufficient side-lighting. You may notice when flowering larger plants that while the main cola and upper buds fill in and dense up well, lower buds end up much smaller and fluffier and the absolute lowest branches end up sickly, ultimately dying off or removed by the grower.

Also, container size does matter as a vigorous, healthy root system will translate into yields. You say your plants are in 1 gallon pots and that's fine for vegging but you'll want to transplant a week or so before you force flowering. You'll want to use something like a 3 or 5 gallon container, at least a gallon per foot of plant. If you expect your plants will finish at 3 feet then 3 gallons is good, otherwise use something larger.

3 feet is awfully big and right now plants are only 6 inches with 4-5 true leaves or nodes. If i plan on stayin with the 1 gal what hieght should i flower? Also HPS will stretch any plant under LED problem is lack of stretch plants never fill the room up. I have decrease my density to 9 plants might have 2 5 gallon pot on one side and like 6-7 1 gal pots packed on the otherside
