I have just invested in 3 computed fans and was wondering how i connect them up to the mains. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, weedman01.

you need dc adapters. compy fans run dc- house runs ac. grab an old wall wort power adapter (maybe from an old portable cd player, or cell phone charger). make sure it meets the output requirements of those fans, or they wont be running at full speed.

chop the round end off, wire to your fan, plug it in, and done. I get a little fancier and add plugs on my adapters to fit the ones that come connected to fans. makes it easier to change out fans in the future.

Thanks very much i have successfully done that to all three fans. I am now having problems attaching the fans to my grow room. My room is a stealth box made from plastic storage boxes and i am worried the plastic will split when i try an cut the holes. Any suggestions?

Thanks, weedman01.

you could probably just heat a wire coat hanger over a candle if you only need a few holes. Good Luck
