How To Disable "Tweets" ?

Anyone know how to disable the "Tweets" icon on the left?

Another thing thats annoying me is the "threads with recent activity" thing on the right - ok, its now set to closed but it leaves my computer thinking for another 5 secs whilst loading up whenever I click "back" to the forum-chooser page...

if anyone has a twitter account, you can login and then post a tweet which is what that icon is for
im no twitter fan so i wont be tweeting anytime soon

this thread would do better in the "support" section.

Yes please, turn it off. They shouldn't put on the site without a way to disable it.

if you use FireFox you can download a add-on called ''Adblock '' this will let you block the adds on sites and it will block the tweet add thing on the side to and the adds that get put onto a person's sig after their post. Enjoy
